Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

This policy explains how WANWAVE LTD. handles personal information collected through this website and enquiries sent to us. It does not cover data processed by our customer monitoring products or platforms.

Who is responsible for your information?

WANWAVE LTD. is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Registered address:
12 Woodlands Park

Company number: 15638121

Information you provide

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, message, and any company or country information you provide. We also receive information you send directly by email.

We use this information to respond, discuss your requirements, and manage related correspondence. Name, email address, and a message are required to submit the form; company and country are optional. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries. Where you enquire about entering a contract personally, processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request before entering that contract.

Spam and bot protection

We use Cloudflare Turnstile, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., to help protect our contact form from automated submissions and abuse.

Turnstile processes technical information, including your IP address, browser information, connection characteristics and the website where the check occurs, to distinguish human visitors from bots.

We rely on our legitimate interests in protecting our website and enquiry channels for this processing. Cloudflare processes this information to provide the protection service and also uses technical signals to improve its bot detection capabilities.

For further information, see Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Website operation and statistics

Our website infrastructure and backups are located in the United Kingdom. Technical information, such as IP addresses, request timestamps, and browser information, may be recorded to operate, troubleshoot, and secure the website. We rely on our legitimate interest in maintaining a functioning and secure website for this processing.

We use Jetpack Stats, provided by Automattic, to understand website traffic. Its processing includes IP addresses, visited and referring URLs, event timestamps, browser information, language, and country information. WordPress.com account identifiers may also be processed when a visitor is logged into WordPress.com.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our website and to improve its content and usability.

When you consent to statistics cookies, Google Analytics may collect information such as the pages you visit, interactions with the website, referral sources, approximate location, and browser and device information. It uses cookie identifiers to distinguish visits and sessions. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.

We use your consent as the legal basis for this analytics processing. You can decline statistics cookies or withdraw your consent through the website’s “Manage consent” control. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

We retain user-level and event-level analytics data for 14 months. New visits do not reset the retention period for user identifiers. Aggregated statistical reports may remain available for longer.

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data safeguards.

Services used to handle information

We use Jetpack Forms to collect enquiries. Form responses are stored in our website’s WordPress database, and email notifications are sent to our team. Google Workspace provides our email service. Jetpack is connected to WordPress.com; connected features involve processing by Automattic.

Access to enquiries within wanwave is limited to authorised team members. Service providers may process information as needed to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.

International processing and access

Our website server and website backups are in the UK. Authorised team members may access enquiries from the United States. Our Google and Automattic services may involve processing outside the UK.

How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not lead to a customer relationship are retained for up to 12 months after the last interaction, then deleted.

Where an enquiry leads to a customer relationship, relevant correspondence may be retained for managing that relationship and meeting applicable legal obligations.

Cookies and similar technologies

WordPress and connected Jetpack features may use cookies or similar technologies. The technologies used depend on the features enabled and whether you are logged in.

Your rights

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You may also have rights to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it.

To make a request, contact info@wanwave.com.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or your relevant local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, services, or data-handling practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
