4–20 mA Modem
M420-10
The M420-10 connects equipment and sensors with a 4–20 mA interface to the wanwave LPWAN network. It enables readings from compatible devices to be transmitted wirelessly to a wanwave gateway, supporting remote monitoring while retaining existing sensing equipment.
Powered by a 3.6 V lithium thionyl chloride battery, the modem has a catalog-listed battery life of five years and transmission power below 25 mW. Its compact, IP68-rated enclosure measures 89 × 80 × 48 mm and supports operation at ambient temperatures from -40°C to +80°C.

Connectivity & integration
M420-10 accepts signals from compatible sensors or equipment with 4–20 mA outputs and transmits readings over wanwave’s proprietary network through a compatible gateway. The gateway forwards the data to wanwave monitoring platforms or your existing IT systems. The modem operates on battery power; connected sensor and current-loop power requirements must be confirmed for the deployment.
