Soil Moisture Sensor
SMS-10
The SMS-10 measures soil moisture and transmits readings over wanwave LPWAN, helping growers track changing soil conditions and make informed irrigation decisions. Default settings support different soil types with accuracy within 15%, while on-site calibration for the specific soil improves accuracy to within 5%.
Powered by a 3.6 V lithium thionyl chloride battery with a five-year battery life, the sensor supports long-term monitoring without an external power connection. Its compact, IP67-rated enclosure measures 89 × 80 × 48 mm and weighs 255 g, making it practical for distributed agricultural monitoring.
