Soil Temperature Sensor
STS-10
The STS-10 measures soil temperature and transmits readings over wanwave LPWAN, helping growers track conditions below the surface and plan agricultural activities. It provides accuracy of ±0.5°C from 0°C to +80°C, ±1°C from -25°C to 0°C, and ±2°C from -40°C to -25°C.
Powered by a 3.6 V lithium thionyl chloride battery with a five-year battery life, the sensor supports long-term monitoring without an external power connection. Its compact, IP67-rated enclosure measures 85 × 80 × 47 mm and weighs 255 g, making it practical for distributed soil-monitoring installations.

Connectivity & integration
STS-10 transmits soil temperature readings over wanwave’s proprietary network through a compatible wanwave gateway. The gateway forwards the data to wanwave monitoring platforms or your existing IT systems. The sensor operates on battery power; gateway power and uplink requirements depend on the selected model.
